Changing label privileges for moderators
Hello everyone,
in my team, our RISE-projects require translation in 22 languages and to handle this more efficiently, we'd like to split the workload of importing translated xliff-files in language-specific course copies and publishing the e-learning modules between 2 course moderators or more, particularly during vacation of the course owner.
This works fine for importing the .xliff-files, however, since only the course owner can change the labels (which we have custom translations for every required language for), publishing can only be done by the course owner himself.
Would it be possible, to either grant moderators the right to change labels or perhaps tie label permissions to a Team Folder?
Regards,
Marc

Hi Marc,
Thanks for letting us know that you need course managers to be able to access the course's labels. I can see how this feature would be helpful with translating courses. I will be sharing this as a feature request with my team, and if we make any changes that can help, we will post an update here.

Hello, I appreciate that someone shared the need to have the Labels tab accessible by all course managers and not just the course owner. This is also helpful for alignment across multiple courses when there is a change to the labeling approach.
For example, "START COURSE" might be used in some courses, while others have "START" for the same purpose. If we wanted to change all the labels so that they are the same, it would be a bit tedious to coordinate this update with there being multiple course owners.
Thank you so much for the consideration.
