Closed Captions Won't Stay Off

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with Storyline closed captions. I appreciate the troubleshooting you've already tried.

You mentioned that even after the user turns off the closed captions by clicking the CC button, they are back on when the subsequent slide loads. I'm curious if there is a trigger in each slide or in the slide master that turns on the captions when the timeline starts for each slide. 

Please let me know if this is the case, and removing the triggers fixes it. Otherwise, it would help if we could look at your project file to investigate the issue further.
