Color in Feedback Master not Carried to Feedback Layers
The feedback layers are driving me crazy. As the "Master Feedback" screen shot shows, the master is in a blue. But as the "Applied Feedback" screen shot shows, the applied feedback layer is a different color.
I have restarted, even installed the most current update today, and rebooted. Nothing. And I don't see the Edit Theme group of controls on the control ribbon that is shown is some of the documentation.
Please help.

Here is a work-around to beat a tight deadline:
- Create a new project with the same story size as your current project (Design > Story Size Setup)
- Import all of your current project
- On the feedback masters, delete all that you imported, leaving only what was created along with the new project.
- Don't make any revisions to the feedback masters, just accept the defaults (which are not all that bad).

Hi, everyone.
We appreciate your patience while our team investigated this.
I am happy to share some great news! We fixed the issue you reported where:
Colors are not properly applied when a layout created in Feedback master is used on a layer
Be sure to install the latest Storyline 360 update (Build 3.49.24347.0) to take advantage of all the recent features and fixes.
If the problem happens again, please let us know, or you can always work directly with our support engineers here. - SonyaPickensCommunity Member
I had this same problem, but I hadn't updated in a couple of months. So I just installed build 3.51.... and the feedback master is still not working for me. It's not carrying over my font colors or button colors. :( I'm new! This is the first time I've tried using feedback masters.

Hello all! I am working in version 3.77.30587.0 and still experiencing this issue. Is there a fix I am missing or is this bug still live? You can see from the pic that the color scheme on the 'apply layout' menu does not match what is applied to the slide layer.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hello Johnathan,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this snag.
I tried replicating the behavior you experienced on a new project file using a similar color scheme but I was unable to do so.
Since this bug has been reported as fixed, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Yes, thank you. The story file is attached. I manually created feedback layers on the first two slides, but you can see on slide 3 "finish" I have applied the layout with the mismatched colors. Thank you for all your help!
Hello Johnathan,
Thanks for sharing a copy of your project file. I took a look at at and I can confirm that I was able to observe the behavior you reported.
To troubleshoot, I tried replicating the same behavior in a new Slide Master layout and it looks like the green shade was correctly applied there. Here's a screenshot of my test:
Would you mind testing the behavior in the following and letting me know afterwards if you are able to consistently replicate it?
- Test using a new Slide Master layout
- Test the behavior in a new Storyline 360 project file
Let me know how it goes!

I'm having this same issue, I tried both recommendations and neither one works. Having an issue with the first four font colors flipping themselves around too. I'm attaching both storylines and a video of the issue.
Hello Mikkel,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.
I tested your file and it looks like there is indeed some issues with the feedback master layout, especially when gradients are used. I opened a bug report to notify our product team of this issue, and I've linked this post so we can share updates when they are made available. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I am also having this issue and it is very frustrating! I am also not able to apply my theme colors or font.
Hi JodiShuck-e794e!
Sorry to hear you've also run into this setback!
We're still tracking the Storyline bug which causes colors to not apply when a Feedback Master layout is used on a Slide-level Feedback Layer. However, this behavior only occurs when gradient colors are applied. I've included your voice in the bug report!
Can you share more details on the issue you're facing with Theme Colors and fonts? The Theme Color picker isn't available in the Feedback Master view the same way it is in the Slide Master, or on the slide-level. Also, while testing I was able to modify my font on a Feedback Master Slide and apply that font to a Feedback Layer, on the slide-level.
If you're comfortable sharing the .story file you're working with, we'd be happy to take a closer look! Feel free to upload that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi StevenBenassi,
Thank you for your response. What I am encountering is that if I have a color and front theme for my project, I am not able to access these colors when I go into Feedback Master. The HEX #'s have been already been set up when I started the project which takes some time if it is a new theme and these do not carry over to when creating a quiz/I cannot access them. Also, when I take the time to set up the design in Feedback Master it is not reflecting on my actual quiz. The "Try Again" response reads "Incorrect" even though it says "Try Again" on the master slide. Most slides are not consistent (button will be different shapes, font size/colors will be different, etc.). I am having to adjust each slide in my quizzes. I cannot share the project here but will put in a support ticket to see if there is something that might be causing the issue.
