Complex module request
I have been asked by a department to make a module as follows:
- Start with a quiz
- Only when a question is answered incorrectly is the user shown content relating to the topic the question was based on. Then they can move on to the next question. If you get the question right, you don't have to view the content slide.
- Then, if a score of 80% was not achieved on the first pass, the person needs to take the quiz again
I can do parts 1 and 2 in the storyline, but the addition of revisiting the quiz afterwards based on a percentage is more challenging.
I would like to keep it all in one self-contained module, but Storyline blocks in Rise would be fine. However, I understand that quiz results from Storyline blocks are not passed through to the LMS as they are pulled from Review360, which has no SCORM files as part of the export.
I would welcome any suggestions and ideas on how to make this work.

Hi Steven,
It seems to me you could do this by doing the following:
- Create your quiz questions slides
- Create a results slide for all the quiz questions
- With the results slide selected, set the Passing score to 80%
- On the success layer of the results slide, add a button to exit the course or go to the next slide or whatever you want the user to do after they successfully pass the quiz.
- On the Failure layer, leave the retake quiz button that is automatically generated. Remove the review quiz button if you wish.
This should allow the user to see the Success layer upon passing and give them a button to leave, and force those who do not pass to see the Failure layer with no way to exit without retaking the quiz.
