Controlling assessments

I have a client who did not require a pass score on an e-learning programme that we developed, but now wants to record the results of each learner's first and subsequent attempts at passing the assessments.   Is that possible ?

They have no problem with the learners re-using the content multiple times to improve knowledge, but would like to track results activity on each occasion.

Welcome your thoughts.

  • Hi Andy,

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm happy to add some thoughts to this!

My client initially did not require a learner score in their course but now wants to record the results of every attempt.

If there was no need to score a result in a course, I assume there wasn't a results slide initially included. You will have to republish the course for your client to include tracking and reporting via a results slide to record scores in an LMS.

Also, it depends on the LMS on whether multiple scores are possible. Within Storyline, only the most recent gets reported. Take a look at this discussion where I shared this in more detail:

    I hope this helps!
