Cornerstone LMS new version stuck processing

Hello! I have just started using Cornerstone. I am running into this issue when trying to upload a new version of a course, it gets stuck processing forever, all day, until the next day it clears out the new version and doesn't update and I have to try again. Sometimes it works, but mostly it doesn't. I am using Rise with some Storyline/video embedded, exporting Scorm 2004 4th edition. Has anyone had this issue before and found a solution?

  • Hi Candace,

I'd recommend contacting Cornerstone to find out why the updated version of your Rise course is not uploading to their platform.  Here are also a few suggestions you can try with them:

    • test the version by uploading it to another LMS (e.g., SCORM Cloud).
    • if you can, upload the SCORM package as a new course in Cornerstone.
    • check with their support for logs to find out why the new version is not getting uploaded.

If their support has questions regarding the Rise course, open a ticket with us here.  Our team will be more than happy to help out.

We can also wait for others in the community familiar with the platform to chime in with their suggestions.

  • There is a work-around for this issue.

Are you running on a VPN? If so, the way to get past this is to copy the published file to your local drive and upload from there (per I.T.).

    1. Create a local folder: Windows (C:) > Articulate Local
    2. With Cornerstone Content Uploader open, copy your file into this folder.
    3. Then disconnect from your VPN and drag the file over to Cornerstone Content Uploader. It should finish without delay.
    4. Then remember to reconnect to your VPN.
