Course complete trigger not working
A 4 slide course I am testing in my LMS will not mark completion using track by course complete trigger. I suspect it might be related to the July 21st Storyline 360 Build 3.42.22691.0? I was able to get the course to mark complete using number of slides.

This is an issue we are currently investigating specific to the latest update. I've added this conversation to the report so that we can share updates with you here.
In the meantime, the following workarounds are available:
- Tracking via the number of slides.
- Tracking via result slide.
- Installing update 41.
Thanks Leslie! I rolled back to the previous version, but unfortunately I couldn't open my story file since i had used text styles. I was able to get it to work by using track via the number of slides.

Thanks for alerting us to this issue! Our team released a fix this AM noted as:
- Fixed: Font sizes changed unexpectedly in some projects with custom slide sizes.
Please download and install the latest Storyline 360 Build 3.42.22724.0.

These major issues introduced with a new version make me wonder what kind of testing and validation is being done before releasing an update. Obviously not enough...
Thanks for such a quick fix/update! Can you tell me if the fix also resolves the issue with the course completion trigger? Or will that be coming at a later date?
Hi Melanie, We're testing a fix for the Course Completion Trigger issue now. Timing on the release remains 'ASAP'.
I was just about to add my own discussion topic about the course completion trigger not working (checked on SCORM cloud as well). I will roll back to update 41, hopefully this will be fixed soon as it is rather important for current lesson development.

Hi, Just a request that you post on here when the course completion issue is fixed - It's causing me all manner of issues holding up a project and managing stakeholders! Just commenting in the hope i get an email notification when an update is given!

I've updated my Storyline, published the course again, uploaded it to our LMS but still receive no Completed or Passed status in our Learning Locker LRS.

Our courses are not completing either, both Rise and Storyline, even though I had update to the latest storyline and republished the courses, that still didn't help. I have just updated the completion for the storyline courses to complete using the number of slides viewed. but this is not ideal. The results slide didn't make a difference either. ANy ideas?
Hi Sasha, some LMS's use the story.html to start. If you change that to the correct start file (e.g. index_lms.html) it will work. Have you checked this?
I am having the same issue but only with a project created back in 2019. I've tried multiple things to no avail. How does one change the start file to index_lms.html? This project only has the format available for HTML5.
