Course does not fit screen
Potentially silly question but... Simply put, course is much bigger than screen on my PC, so that half of the screen is cut out.
Any way to make it fit so the full page is on one screen?
Browser zoom is at 100%

Rise is designed to scroll, so large courses will not be on one page. That looks small though, what is your resolution?

3840x2160
Yes, I get the scrolling but ideally I would like a full page on the screen. I guess it won't matter as much with blocks, as they are all different sizes so to speak... Though I try to use dividers to make it looks like one page at a time rather than scrolling though a very long lesson.
But the initial page cut out like that doesn't look great.- KarlMullerCommunity Member
Hi,
I use a monitor with a similar resolution and I can see the entire page width at 100%. This seems to be a device specific issue.

Hi Enrico,
Thanks for sending some screenshots. I was able to get the exact look and behaviour by increasing my browser's zoom to 133%, but you mentioned that your browser's zoom is 100%. Are you using an external display? Also, what browser are you using?

Hi Chino, I am using Mozilla and yes, I normally use a monitor as my main display, but this is on my laptop screen, not connected to the external display.
Hello Enrico! I understand your screen resolution is currently set to 3840x2160, is that correct?
Have you tried playing with the display resolution or changing the scaling to the recommended setting?
The display resolution and scaling may be different if you are using a high-resolution monitor than your laptop display. Changing the scaling to a lower one or the recommended setting may help.
Let me know how it goes.

I thought Rise automatically adjusts the display based on the device's resolution. I'm having the same issue. I developed a course in Rise and some learners are reporting that the text on tabs is truncating, even though I'm not seeing that. I also have a client that says the text is really small on his device.
I've attached 2 image files - one is a screenshot from my client that shows the tab text truncating, and the other is how I see the same tab.
Can someone please advise?
Hi cynthiaLyons.
Happy to help!
- What kind of device is your client viewing this course on? It will be helpful to know a bit more about their setup since you mentioned you aren't experiencing this behavior on your end.
- Do you happen to know what your client's screen resolution is currently set at?
- I'd recommend adjusting the display resolution or possibly changing the scaling to the recommended setting. I'm curious if a larger or smaller percentage will adjust the layout of the text for this Tabs block.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you, Luciana for your reply. I will have to ask my client about his device and screen resolution. It's just strange to me because I have never in the past had this come up. I will circle back when I've talked to my client.
