Cursor randomly jumping back while typing
Since the update earlier this week, I've been having instances of my cursor randomly jumping back a line, two lines, or to the beginning of whatever box I'm typing in - as I'm typing. I've double checked it's not something triggering the touchpad, as it even happens while I'm using a USB keyboard. I've tried new batteries in both the mouse and keyboard, disabling the touchpad on the laptop, all to no avail.
Additionally, this does NOT happen if I first re-boot the computer and DO NOT open the Articulate App. Once the Articulate<360> App is opened, I begin to experience this issue even outside of Articulate (notepad, Slack, etc.)
Note: Running Win 11
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Eric,
thanks for looking into this. You are right, the issue seems somewhat erratic and is hard to replicate. I haven't had many problems recently, but I haven't used the "®" much.
IIRC, it happened more in relatively big projects with many slides and media, but again, hard to replicate. - FelixFrankeCommunity Member
I have similar behaviour in the Notes section. It only occurs if I use the ® (registered trademark) sign.
In my view, it is a bug, which can be prevented in my scenario by omitting the ® or adding it after editing the text (which is a nuisance, but if the lawyer insists all ® are put... 🤦♂️)

Thanks for sharing your experience! I tried to replicate this in a new Storyline course by adding the registered trademark symbol (®) in a multi-line text box in the Notes pane, using the Alt+0174 method. In my testing, I didn’t see the cursor jumping.
Can you let me know how you’re typing the symbol on your side? That might make a difference in reproducing the issue. Also, does it happen in a brand-new, simple course, or only in a particular project?
I’m sharing a screenshot below, along with the sample file I used.
If you’re able, please share your file here in the thread so we can take a closer look. Or, if you’d prefer, you can send it privately through a support case. And if you can grab a quick screen recording of the issue, that would be super helpful too.
