I have created a disabled state on a shape. After the shape is clicked, a trigger changes to disabled. I changed the shape to have no fill, no line and deleted the text in the shape to make it disappear. My problem is the preview of the state does not show the text. However, when the course is previewed or published in Review 360, the text still appears.
Any help, suggestions are appreciated.

Why don't you just delete the shape in disabled state? What you already tried would work with any custom state. I ques changing to hidden state is not an option?
Nedim is right. Traditionally, disabled state is used to show where the shape is and indicate that it is not currently active. Hidden state makes the object disappear completely, without any additional actions necessary.
