Donwload Pdf from Storyline
A PDF is a computer file that is physically located on a computer somewhere. If your learners are going to download it. It must be someplace they can access.
If you will include it in the resources, Storyline will package it as part of the published output, and anybody that can access the course can download it. If not, it has to be put someplace where they all have access to it, or they can’t download it.
I really think you want them downloading it from the LMS, and not trying to access your computer.

With RISE, the file-to-be-downloaded is attached as part of the export and is inside the export folder, similar to any images or videos that are a part of the RISE (IIRC). I find it odd that Storyline wouldn't do this same function.
I see from WaltHamilton (#superhero)'s response that if I put the items as resources, it will package into the STORYLINE, but I find it odd that there's even the capacity pull the downloadable file from my desktop. Maybe the default is to pull from the web, and STORYLINE doesn't differentiate whether it's my C: drive or the web. Just feels like a "falls short" there.
Thank you again Walt for saying it should go in Resources.
