I would like to have 3 characters on the page and an assortment of statements that can be dragged to each character.
It would mean that more than one statement is dragged to each customer.
How can this be done? would it need multiple layers?
The built-in Drag and Drop freeform quiz is built to handle that easily. You need a drop target that is large enough to accommodate all the answers. Go to Form view, and assign the drag objects to the drop targets. You cannot assign any drag object to more than one target, but you can assign multiple objects to every target.
You will need to test to discover the stacking option that suits you.
