Edit Saved Video
Hello,
My team and I use articulate and I need to edit a video that I did not create in storyline. How do I open the video on my end to make the edits. Am I able to do so?

Storyline provides limited options for editing a video file (Edit Videos in Storyline 360 - E-Learning Heroes (articulate.com)). Basically, you can trim and crop it, as well as make some adjustments to volume, brightness, and contrast.
If you don't have any other software for editing videos, you could insert and trim the same video multiple times, and then play those pieces one after another. Or create a project with a slide that has those videos, and then publish that file as a video. Then you'd end up with one edited video file. Keep in mind, though, that the quality may degrade a bit.

Hi Judy,
The edits that need to be made include content. Not so much trimming or cropping the video. A Collegue of mine created a project in storyline but I need to open the project back up and make edits to it. Is that possible?

If you have a .story file, you can open and edit it however you want (within the limits of what Storyline can do, of course).
For a video, you can edit out content with trimming, as described in my earlier comment.
In Storyline, you can't add content directly to the video file. However, you could cut it into pieces, and then insert other content between those pieces.
Another option is to trigger pauses to the video, show content, and then restart the video. If you do a bit of searching, you should be able to find tutorials and posts with details about how to do that sort of "interactive video."
