Editing/Adding in timeline AFTER Zoom Region

I hope this is a quick fix, but boy is it a pain in the tush to try to place objects in a zoom region on the timeline when it defaults to the pre-zoom appearance. Please tell me there is a way to edit the after zoom section without just having to guess as to where to place objects??!!

  • Hi Brian,

Are you not seeing the green dashed box that identifies the zoomed area? I'm using SL360, and it shows where the zoomed area is, so you can position things within it.

  • The zoom region is the same aspect ratio as the slide. You can create a shape that mimics that aspect ratio. Place objects/text, etc into that shape. Group it and scale up or down and position in your zoom region.
