EXIT COURSE button not appearing as it should
EXIT COURSE button not appearing once SCORM exported with EXIT COURSE enabled and uploaded to LMS
- PhilMayorSuper Hero
If the exit course button is enabled, is it possible that your LMS is blocking it?

Hi Presessional Tutors!
I would suggest troubleshooting your file in SCORM Cloud to check if the behavior is the same. SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine that's free and supports AICC, SCORM, Tin Can API (xAPI), and cmi5 content. This video tutorial demonstrates how to use SCORM Cloud with Articulate content. If your course works properly in SCORM Cloud but not in your LMS, kindly share your SCORM Cloud findings with your LMS provider to troubleshoot the issue. If the course encounters the same issues in SCORM Cloud, open a case with us here so that we can investigate. - LAnalbersCommunity Member
Hi Phil, any luck with this issue?
I do have the same issue and I don't see anything strange in SCORM cloud that can give me a clue why the exit course button is not showing for my course. I explicitly choose during LMS publish to export the SCORM inclusing the EXIT COURSE button option. Hello L Analbers,
Thanks for reaching out!
I see that you've opened a support case and that you are working with my colleague Lejan. You're in great hands!
We'll continue the conversation over in your case.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Luciana -
I am also experiencing this issue with a course I published yesterday. Any updates on what might be going on?
Thanks!
[update] In my own investigation, I noticed that when I used one of the newer "navigation" options - the compact menu versus the traditional sidebar - that's when my exit button no longer worked. I switched my course back to the sidebar menu and the exit button returned.Hi Alicia!
Sorry to hear you've also run into this setback!
To clarify, were you viewing the course through an LMS when you encountered this issue? If so, and your Exit Course button was enabled, there's a chance this behavior could be related to your LMS. Have you had a chance to test your course with SCORM Cloud? That can help determine if the issue lies with your course, or the LMS itself.
If the same behavior can be observed when testing in SCORM Cloud, please connect with our support engineers through a support case. They'd be happy to continue troubleshooting with you!
