Free form fill in the blank questions
In Rise, I need to add fill-in-the-blank questions to a course, but I don't want them to show as correct or incorrect.
I'll ask a question (using a text block) then I need to use a free-form format so that the learner can type in their answer. Is there a way to do this? I'm building this for a client, and they don't want storyline blocks.
Thanks!
Hello DarleneDalgl618 and LeahTownsend, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360, adding the new features below:
- Knowledge check blocks can be added directly to question banks, have their content width and answer colors modified, be required for training progress, hide the correct answer if answered incorrectly, and have a set number of retries.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update!

Seconding the need for this feature - we want the learners to do a non-graded reflection at the end of a module and this type of feature would be great.
Hi Leah!
Thanks for the feedback on how this feature could benefit you when authoring in Rise 360! I've included you in the feature report and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share!
