Getting Error message need help trouble shooting it
Dawn,
I don't want to sound mean, or nasty, because you have obviously put a lot of work into this. But it looks to me like you have worked very hard, and created a somewhat oval-shaped wheel. I'm not exactly sure which part of the oval to shave off to get a round wheel, but I think you should use Storyline's wheel.
Generally speaking, a pick one interaction with lots of self-created triggers is used when a drag object can be dropped correctly on a variety of targets. I may be missing something, but it looks to me like each drag object can be correct on only one target. If that's the case, that's exactly what the built-in Drag and Drop interaction was created to do.
As it is, if you go to the form view of the quiz slides, there is no answer selected as the correct answer, which explains why the system thinks there is no answer. Also be sure every drag item is represented on that page.
As nearly as I can tell from your triggers, they all duplicate a function that is built into a Drag and Drop slide. here's what I would suggest:
1. Delete all the triggers, and all the off-stage Radio Buttons.
w. Go to the Insert tab, and remove the freeform slide. It will not remove the slide, only the question.
3. Go to the Insert tab, and convert the slide to a free form slide, choosing Drag and Drop
4. Go to Form View, list each Drag item, and choose its correct Drop target.
5. Delete the Check Correct and X Incorrect states.
6. If you want Visual Confirmation of Correct/Incorrect states, edit the Drop Correct and Crop Incorrect states, putting the check and X on them
7. Attach a trigger to the Submit button that says "Submit Interaction Drag and Drop when user clicks Submit Button.
8. If you do not change their names, the Correct, Incorrect, and Try Again layers should work.
