How can Storyline be made to perform quicker when loaded with content?
So, understandably, Storyline begins to significantly slow down once the timelines and layers for a slide have become abundant, particularly for system-based trainings. The smallest action (i.e. repositioning) suddenly takes a relatively long time to implement. A
re there any methods for helping the speed of the software when designers reach this point?
Aside from Phil's suggestion, check your master slides – more master slides often lead to slower performance. Also, if you're working with large video files, try using HandBrake to reduce their size. Another trick is to move the files to your C: drive. I hope it helps.
