Hi there,
I discovered that you can change the colour of the scroller (just not within the tool)... you would need to edit the css after the course is published then re-zip. So if you are feeling brave, search for the .scrollarea-btn-after class name in the published content in here: "output\html5\lib\stylesheets\main.min.css"
The only drawback is you would need to do this each time it's published. So best wait until you're finished as the last thing you do. Unless anyone knows how to get SL to retain the edits on publish?
.scrollarea-btn-after {
position: absolute;
top: 0px;
left: 21px;
width: 8px;
height: 100%;
background: #c2505f; **this changes the colour of the draggable item in the scroller**
pointer-events: none;
box-shadow: 0 0 0px 1px #f2f2f2;
border-radius: 5px;
content: '';
display: block;
}I tested this early and it seems to work ok for me in Chrome... not tested any others.

It's so frustrating to locate threads like this where a simple features request like this has been asked for numerous times over the course of years knowing that instead of working on this, Articulate has been creating scrolling textboxes that no one asked for or wants. I swear Articulate has some damage control to do for that mistake. Maybe start by implementing some of these feature requests?

Any update? I am seeing posts starting 8 years ago for this request. Now with the thinner scroll bar it looks too small for our mobile users and nearly invisible! Come on Storyline... compliance! It's 2022.

Hi John
unfortunately not at this stage - the scrollbars in the player - yes not scrolling panels in a slide.

As a new designer in Storyline. My organization has very specific color schema about anything interactive so I being not to use the scroll panel in design because we are not able to change the color. I would love to see this added. It would make some of my interactive slides much better.

Any particular reason this functionality still has not been added three years after being suggested? With the amount of comments on this thread it's clearly something people want.
Hi Buel,
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
We are tracking this feature requests and I've adjusted the user impact today as well to reflect another +1 on this one.

HI,
I want to change the color of the scrollbar in my course but as of now it is not possible, could you please add this feature in the storyline tool it will help us when we do customize the design for our course as per our client's brand colors. - NerinaWillia581Community Member
Hi everyone, while this is an old post I would also like to add my vote. The grey is very light and not very noticeable to learners. Please keep this post active so that it doesn't end up at the bottom of our wish list :-)

Agreed. Good point!
This pale gray color theme since it surfaced many years ago (was it Microsoft who introduced it?) was a good idea in concept, but poor in execution in many, many instances, not just with Articulate.
