Hyperlink not displaying visited state when using keyboard navigation
Hyperlinks in text work as expected when using the mouse but if using keyboard navigation (ie tab and enter) to activate a hyperlink the text does not change to the visited state. This is using the default hyperlink text style. Although the link is activated using the keyboard navigation there is no indication to the user that the link has been visited. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks
Hello, everyone! 👋
I wanted to share that we've released Storyline 360 (Build 3.84.31647.0) which includes the fix for the bug where hyperlink states didn't work as expected when navigating only with a keyboard or after duplicating a slide.
All you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!
If you run into any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to our team by submitting a support case.
Have a great day and happy developing!

I see this was from 10 months ago. Is there any update on a fix for this.
Hi Russ!
It sounds like you've also been affected by hyperlinks not changing states when using keyboard navigation. Sorry if this has been slowing you down!
I don't have any updates to share at the moment as our development team is still closely tracking this issue. I've included you in the bug report so you can be notified as soon as we have any updates to share.

Hello, I'm experiencing a problem with my Articulate file. Despite using Articulate version 3.84.31647.0, the keyword navigation fails to recognize hyperlinks in various states. Could you please guide me on how I can fix this issue?

Luciana - Glad to hear some progress has been made on this issue.
I can confirm the hyperlink state changes to visited when selected with the keyboard - but NOT if the text is animated by paragraph. Is there any update on this and the other issue still affecting text animated-by-paragraph (the hover/visited state not working on every link)?
Hello Renee,
I can confirm that we are still monitoring a known bug where the states of hyperlinks inside the same text box behave erratically when entrance animation by paragraph is applied. I've added this ELH post to the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is released that addresses this issue!

Still problems using hyperlinks in a Lightbox page (that I had to use to circumvent a current problem with Resources links not working correctly - for which there is a support ticket already open and a possible bug to be fixed). Some get the style correct, other don't. Tried everything but with zero success. Link works, but some do not change state on hovering, others also on selecting and none get visited state. A mess. So I have one problem open and this was the only workaround that is possible - among those suggested - and it has other problems. Like a cascade of problems with hyperlinks. Spent an extra day (for which I am not paid by the client!) trying to deliver a course with hyperlinks that work. Articulate...any chance we do not have to work for free to deliver something simple and plain vanilla?
Hi Andrea!
I'm sorry for how big of a mess this has been! I see that you've connected with my teammate, Chester, and shared your project files with him. You should hear from him shortly about his findings!
