I want to change the built-in variable 'Quiz1.ScorePoints'.
My presentation dashboard uses the 'Total Score' variable (which I created) to aggregate scores from different slides. However, my Learning Management System (LMS) only recognizes the value of the built-in 'Quiz1.ScorePoints' variable. Is there a way to modify or add values to this built-in variable, or how can I assign the value of my 'Total Score' to 'Quiz1.ScorePoints'?
Thanks all.
Hello Do Thanh,
Happy to help!
There isn't a way to modify the built-in quiz variables generated by Storyline 360. You'll either need to use a "Combined Results" slide to compute for the aggregate score, or send the value of the 'Total Score' variable manually to your LMS by following the instructions here:
Using a "Combined Results" slide will allow your quiz to collect all of the scores of each individual quiz and then compute for a total which can then be used to determine if a learner passes or not. You can check out this article to learn more about quizzing and tracking options in Storyline 360:
