Using the built in Variables starting with quiz.
Hi,
I cannot seem to find any information explaining the quiz1.ScorePoints and the other quiz1 variables.
They seem to be set as automatic.
How do they get applied to a quiz question?
What is the value that is used to update the count?
How do you determine what the quiz1.scorePoints and quiz1.PassPoints values are?
I am trying to understand the parameters of the source of the points being assigned to the variables. I cannot see where it gets added or updated in the quiz question responses.

The [quiz].ScorePoints and [quiz].PassPoints variables aren't applied to a quiz question. They apply to the corresponding Results slide (e.g., Quiz 1, Quiz 2, or whatever you rename a quiz).
Those variables work along with the [quiz].ScorePercentage and [quiz].PassPercentage variables.
You set the PassPercentage on the Results slide. Note: This is the only one of these four variables that you can adjust. The others are determined automatically.
The Form View of each question shows the points awarded for a correct answer. The default value is 10 points, but that can be changed as desired.
PassPoints is the specified PassPercentage of the total possible points if the user correctly answers all of the questions in the quiz. For example, suppose you have a 10 question quiz, and each question is worth 10 points. That means there are 100 possible points in the quiz. If the PassPercentage is 80%, the PassPoints would be 80.
ScorePoints and ScorePercentage are the totals that a user reaches when they take the test.
