Imported a slide into another project and background is duplicated
I have 2 projects:
Project 1 - when right clicking on each slide:
- Apply Layout > Blank
- Format Background > Solid fill
- Hide background graphics > ticked
Project 2 - when right clicking on each slide:
- Apply Layout is set to a theme
- Format Background > Solid fill
- Hide background graphics > ticked
Problem I've having: I am deprecating Project 1 and copying the slides, one by one, from Project 1, to paste into Project 2. Some slides that I have pasted in Project 2, have a duplicated background which I cannot resolve. Please see the attachment. Your help with this would be hugely appreciated.
Hi Jose 😀 I recaptured the video with a default resolution on my laptop (1920 x 1080 and the scaling is 125%) and the issue for some reason was resolved. But I have another jump to next slide question I will create a new discussion for. Thank you my friend.

❗ Important addendum: Just noticed that I am only getting this issue on slides where I have a text entry field which the learner is supposed to type in.
ℹ️ Additional info, as I can't edit the discussion topic to add this: the reason I am copying and pasting slides into Project 2 is because the latter is being built on a new template.
Hello MeeraLynn-69f97,
Happy to help!I haven't encountered this issue before, so I'll need your help to test what's happening. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or privately by opening a support case so I can check what's causing the duplication issue? We'll delete it when we're done!
You can also try importing slides to your project using the import feature and copying and pasting internally instead of copying from one project file to another to see if this makes a difference.
