Inspirational ideas on medical device training

Just checking to see if anyone has anything they have done or run across that was a particularly engaging or interesting example of medical device training. Would love to hear any ideas you have or challenges you ran across.

Yes, thanks Eric. Without specifying the device (for proprietary reasons), it is a small pain management treatment device that requires a good bit of clinical reasoning to determine the nature of the patient's pathology in order to choose the most effective means of using the device in treatment. Because accurate identification of the primary pain-causing tissues is so important I was thinking a good be of scenario-based learning would be directly applicable and similar to how the device would be used in real life.

  • I have used scenario-based training in engine troubleshooting. It more of an investigative process.  If this happens go this way, or in your case, if this hurts go this way.

I know mine took a lot of line drawing on a wipe off board. Mine is 4 x 8 feet and it was filled.

    Good Luck
