Is there a way to get a dial to rotate counter-clockwise automatically?
I've created a dial interaction using gears as the dial faces. I want to be able to dial one gear and rotate the other one simultaneously, but in the opposite direction, the way actual gears work.
Is that possible?
Yes, that's possible. It's just a question of setting the start and end points and start and end values of dials. See the second example here: https://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl74_SL3/DialsV1x/story_html5.html. As the plane is turned clockwise, the map turns counter-clockwise.
Just an experiment! Here’s a quick demo attached. You might be able to achieve a similar effect by linking two dials that rotate in opposite directions, then disabling the primary dial if it’s moved counterclockwise.
