Issues with non-western (Hungarian) characters in Rise 360?
Hello,
I'm having difficulties with special characters used in Hungarian and other Eastern European characters.
I must use a non serif type face and none of the included type fonts in Rise 360 render these characters correctly (see picture). Looks like these characters are missing and represented using a default type which is Serif. This looks terribly bad as weight and spacing differ.
I've tried uploading a custom font and I get similar results.
Any tip or advice?
Thanks,

Hi Aitor! Thanks for reaching out! We've got this issue documented regarding custom fonts and built-in fonts not appearing correctly for special characters.
In the meantime, please have a look at this article:- How to Get Non-Latin Characters to Display Properly
If you continue to have issues with the font, we take a closer look at your web font file and how it appears in your course. You can share that information with us here, by opening a case.

Thanks Renz. I've tried this with mixed results. it worked for some fonts but not for others. In any case, I don't fully understand why one should rely on custom fonts for this. The built-in fonts should support non-latin characters as standard.
I've managed to get it working for the project I'm now working on but I hope this is fixed.Hi Aitor,
Thank you for the post. I am facing the same issue with Hungarian fonts in a project.
Could you please tell me the work around? The font 'ő' looks awful in the text and I don't know what to do with it.Thanks,
Gabi
