Rise French Templates & French Translation
I'm fairly new to working with Articulate and there is a rise template course that we want to use. Does anyone know if they have french equilavent course templates in Rise? I only see english content.
Alternatively, if we get it translated, is the only option to export to NLIFF file for translation?
Thanks for helping a newbie out.
Hi Laurie!
Rise course templates and prebuilt content are currently only available in English, but you can translate these into other languages such as French by exporting the content to XLIFF, as discussed in this article:
We're tracking requests for other languages for these course templates and prebuilt content, and we'll let you know once we have updates that can help!

Any suggestions on how to translate the videos in these templated Rise courses? Without access to the video file it is very difficult to create closed captions in French. Any ideas?
Hi FernMcCracken!
Happy to help with this!
Rise 360 users can access .VTT and video source files from course templates.
- Publish the Rise 360 course template to Web.
- Extract the files from the published Zip package.
- Navigate to the Content folder > Assets folder > rbc folder.
However, as my teammate Gren shared, we are tracking a feature request to help streamline this process. I'll include your voice in the request! We'll be sure to notify you if this enhancement makes it to our product roadmap.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Perfect! Thanks I didn't think about that option. Will try it out!
