Knowledge Check: Retry after the correct is displayed
Hello Ashley, I also use knowledge checks in my Rise lessons. I understand that it reveals immediate feedback with the correct answer. However, at the same time, it offers the retry option. I had a lot of feedback from the learners that it does not make sense after they already saw what correct answer is. Is there anything that could be done? Can I disable retry option?
Thank you for your support

What are customers using as an alternative today since Articulate Rise still shows the correct response after a incorrect response is chosen?

We are just noticing this issue and it was raised as a concern. Is there an update to remove this?

Yeah, it’s a bit mental that this hasn’t been sorted yet. It’s a very simple fix!

Hi,
Since this discussion is still open, I too am getting the same feedback about Try again displaying when a question has been answered correctly. Is there any workaround now, or fix, to remove this for correct answers?
Thanks,
PamHello Pamela! There isn't a fix yet for this.
There are users who deleted the label and just left the icon. Some users changed the "TAKE AGAIN" label to "Try again if you wish!" as a workaround to reduce any confusion.
We'll post updates to this thread if we have other workarounds or make changes that will help.

How do you do that please?

Thank you. That's really helpful. Wish I'd known that sooner

Was this ever added as a feature? Is there another way of ensuring students can't see the correct answer and having the option to try again - either in the Knowledge Check or a Quiz Lesson?

"Is there another way of ensuring students can't see the correct answer and having the option to try again - either in the Knowledge Check or a Quiz Lesson?"
Yes, you have control over this in a Rise Quiz.

OK, I can't seem to get the settings right. If I use a Quiz Lesson and change the settings to say "Reveal Answers - Show Incorrect Answers with Feedback", it still only gives the students one attempt. I have also set the Quiz Lesson 'retries' to 3. But this doesn't appear to be working.
I just want students to be able to retry a question if they get it wrong, without Rise pointing out what the correct answer is.

OK, so I'm back to square one and using the Knowledge Check which tells students what the answer is even if they get it wrong and get the option to try again?

This is more than three years and still this issue is not solved. WHY? I'm sure it shouldn't take more than a line of coding.

Come on, guys - it's almost 2025, and people have been asking for almost a DECADE. How is this not in place yet?

Any movement on this after 6 years, to avoid the screenshot below? Incorrect answer reveal on the final try only should be a no-brainer. Please incorporate! It seems that there are no clever workarounds.

Hi,
Has the retry option for Knowledge Checks, where learners have answered correctly, been recently removed? I noticed this change in my most recent modules, but it wasn’t the case in the ones I developed earlier this year. My client is concerned about not being able to explore all the available options after selecting the correct answer. Could you please confirm if this behavior is intentional or if it can be configured?
Thanks!
Hi BriceMBOUANI!
Happy to help with this!
I can confirm the 'take again' option, when a learner answers a Knowledge Check question correctly, has been removed from Rise 360. Thanks for letting us know that functionality was important to you. I'll relay your feedback to our product team!
If we reintroduce the feature, we'll share the news on our Feature Roadmap.
