Line motion path
Hi all
Using this tutorial https://www.thearticulatetrainer.com/is-there-a-way-to-make-a-scrolling-panel-automatically-scroll/#comment-44814 I built (using Storyline 360) a scroll panel which gives the text/content the appearance of cinema screen which plays automatically using line motion paths.
However, I want to allow the user to be able to replay the animation on demand if desired. To try and achieve this I inserted a button with the following trigger setting; 'move object (text) along path (line motion path 1) when animation completes object (text) on animation (line path 1), conditions 'if the state of button 1 =selected.'
My issue is; when I test it the button changes to selected state but the animation doesn't restart/loop as expected.
Any ideas or help would be very greatly appreciated.

Hey Julie,
That delay is normally the EASING, but you had removed that in your file. You had created a motion and reversed the direction, so that might have been part of the issue, since in reality the animation starts pretty far off the slide. For example, the length of your animation is 1289 pixels, in the repaired version path is only 750 pixels.

Thanks again Ron for your assistance, that kind of makes sense and I am sure if I implement this technique a few more times I will better understand its nuances.
