Link to website does not work from within my course

I have a slide with a link to a website. When I publish to the review site and click the link, I get this:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<Error>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>
<RequestId>3QGAQ7W0EGWC2C0W</RequestId>
<HostId>Dm6XsANCX/xiuP3cJFF6qURjRNG7H1frswuTQnAQG9xCcPusOA2iCAZ+CAL/OU71mYSQHT0MO9Mu+LHYthkjRQ==</HostId>
</Error>

However, if I copy/paste the link into my browser it works fine. I've attached the slide in question.

  • Hi Cynthia, this looks like it is accessing a resource that requires authentication before you can view it, for example on a corporate network. Ensure you are authenticated on the documents hosting before you click on the link.

  • I can confirm this is the case. After trying to access the link myself, I get a message that says I should be authenticated first.

    Also, just an FYI. You should include the "https://" portion of the URL in your link. e.g "https://www.findhelp.org"

    Thank you, Sam. I'll try that. I just think it was odd that I could access the website by copy/pasting the link in my browser. But I will take your suggestion.

    Thank you!
