Linking word documents
Hi I am new to storyline, and I have several word documents in my resource tabs. I would like to have another slide with a action button that pulls up the document. I cannot use a light box/text box feature because the document has a table in it and that becomes a word jumble. when I try the hyperlink, I do not see an option for the files in my resource tab, only pulls up my local file folders. I would rather have it all self contained and not linked back to my personal folders. Any guidance would be appreciated.

The Open URL/file trigger allows you to attach a document. Click the More (...) button to browse for the file you want to attach.
This does not link back to your personal folders. Like adding files to the Resources tab, it uploads the file into the Storyline project. The course links to the copy of the file in the published assets.
Attached PDFs typically will open in the user's browser. For other file types, the user may need to download the file, and then open it from their desktop.
