Only generating one AI image at a time is probably due to more users now using this feature and impacting their server resources. Lots of other systems only generate one at a time.

Thanks for weighing in! The move to a single generated image wasn’t related to server load. It was an intentional change so you can go directly into editing and fine-tuning the image.
And just to clarify the credit piece, those artifact types don’t use credits on Articulate 360 AI accounts, so selecting those options won’t deduct from your credits.
