Mauvaise qualité video

Bonjour,

Cordialement.

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the quality of videos embedded in Storyline. Although our videos are in high definition, the output is quite poor (heavy pixelation) after publishing the project in SCORM 1.2 format.

I have set the quality to "static" to optimize the conversion, but the result is the same in adaptive mode. It's worth noting that when I preview the project directly in Storyline using the "PREVIEW" tool, the video quality is perfect.

It seems that the issue is related to the conversion to SCORM 1.2 format.

Could you suggest any solutions to improve the video quality?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Best regards.

and the quality of the original mp4 before importing into storyline?

with MediaInfo you can analyse the inner structure, e.g.

here ("First video stream") you can see the datarate, width/height and the framerate

  • I just finalized the compression modification by choosing the "none" option. The quality of the videos on the LMS remains poor. I don't understand.

check the published video files locally

      • expand the scorm package zip
      • the videos are in -> ./storycontent/video...mp4
      • open the video in a video player

      what's the video quality?

  • Thank you for your feedback. The compression menu is grayed out. I can't choose the "NONE" option

  • there is a "special" behaviour with publish of video, e.g.

    • your video is 1920x1080
    • your slide size is 720x405

-> video is publish with 720x405 or lower

to fix this problem, use "Compression None" for all videos
