Multi-scored questionnaire

Hi all :)

I have asked this on the storyline 360 FB page but am awaiting answers, so asking here as well to cover all bases.

I'm near the end of designing a single choice questionnaire (10 questions in total) where each answer needs to be scored between 0 and 4. Each question has 3 or 5 answers and the total score will dictate the end result.

This is the first time I've had to include a scored assessment method into a project, so would appreciate any help here. As far as I am aware, the freeform questionnaire tool only allows you to score one answer, is there a way to score multiple answers using this tool?

If not, would assigning each answer a numbered variable work? If so, how would you calculated the final score using this variable method?

Thanks

  • Hi, Calum,

With any multiple-choice question (default or free form), you can score "By Choice." That allows you to indicate different points for each response, like in this sample:

Setting the Points has to be done in Form View.

  • Hi Judy,

thanks for your reply. I completely forgot about the ability to change the scoring system, thanks for jogging my memory!
