Surveys & Questionnaires

Is it possible to build a survey or questionnaire in Articulate 360? One that you wish to record the results?

Thanks!

      I have two questions:

      1. Storyline 360: How can I change the feedback box 'Incorrect' and 'Correct'? I am trying to create a True/False or Yes/No question so if they don't know then the next slide will train them. Answer is not necessarily correct or incorrect.
      2. Quizmaker 360 - where can I find this? I have Articulate 360 installed but don't see Quizmaker on the menu?

      Thanks.

I have one more question about Quizmaker and Storyline 360 quizzes.

Is there a way to print an online quiz/survey (for those who do not have online access)?

  • Hi Seonaid,

Yes, you can turn the feedback off if you've added a Graded Question or you could use a Survey Question. I thought a quick Peek 360 video demonstration may be a bit easier to follow.

So, glad you were able to locate Quizmaker 360 and you're right, it's part of the Studio 360 suite. The instructions I shared above will be similar.

If you need to print your project, you can publish to Microsoft Word.

Can you have a True/False qestion - but also contain a text entry box that records user explanation of their answer?

  • Hi, Pete,

Yes, you can create a regular True/False question in Storyline 360, and then add a TextEntry field on that same slide.

Here's a quick Peek 360 video showing you one way of doing that, but I know others in the community might offer some great suggestions too!

Let me know if you have additional questions!

    Hi Maria,

Thanks so much for your response and mini tutorial - this works great for a single question
However, I will have @ 100 questions - and I need to be able to print out the results and comments for all of them upon completion of the course - how can I do this?

    Regards
    Pete

  • Hi Pete!

I'm so glad you found Maria's tutorial helpful! Since you're looking to include over 100 responses, you might need to use Javascript to call out the responses in a document that you can print. In most cases, we recommend listing the variable on a results slide, but I can see where that would become crowded!

I'm sure we have community members who have created something similar and can weigh in to share their expertise. I'll keep an eye on this discussion to see what they recommend!

    Hi Lauren,
Whilst Maria's tutorial is helpful - it is not the solution that I need.
I am beginning to think that google forms might be a better solution - it is very disappointing that Storyline seems to lack this kind of basic functionality. I would have thought this kind of requirement would be standard fare for your product. If there are any community members who have managed to achieve what I am looking for, I would love to hear from them.
    Regards

    Pete

  • If there are existing survey templates, I'm not finding them. I can't even find the "Survey Template" tab. It doesn't seem to exist. There is an Import function but it only includes the ability to import PPT, Quiz Maker, Engage, SL, and files from your computer. Can you be a little more specific on how to find these "existing" survey templates?

  • Hi Wendy,

Thanks for reaching out! I understand you are looking for survey templates. Here is a downloadable survey template from our Building Better Courses forum.

If this doesn't work for your scenario, would you be able to provide some information about what you are looking to achieve? This will allow us to possibly find a solution for you

I look forward to your response!
