Navigation to Cover Page

With Navigation restricted, learners are not able to freely navigate through the course. Learners are forced to work through the lessons in the established order, however learners are able to use the side bar to look back at lessons that they have already completed.

We have been unable to find a way for learners to access the Cover Page once they have started a course? Is there a way to make it so that learners can access the Cover Page after completing the course, so that they are able to revisit the different lessons that they have already completed?

Alternative, but similar question: once a course is completed, learners who exit out of the course are forced to start the course from the beginning. Is there a way to build the course so that it remembers that learners have finished the course and can freely navigate throughout the different lessons?

  • Hi Megan!

It sounds like you had questions about Navigation controls in Rise 360!

Have you tried restricting the navigation, while allowing the course sidebar to remain displayed?

If Restricted Navigation is required for your course, using navigation settings that always display the course name in the sidebar will allow the learner to return to the landing page by clicking on the title.

To your second question, are you viewing the course through an LMS? Rise content will always resume if you're hosting in a Learning Management System, and the LMS supports resume/bookmarking behavior.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
