Need to do screen simulation on a computer that doesn't have Articulate. Is there an online solution?
I need to do a screen capture that will be converted to a video, a try mode, and a test mode module. The SME I'm working with cannot access the program through my computer, and he does not have Articulate on his. Is there an online Articulate solution that I can use, or am I better off capturing it via Teams or Skype and then manually creating those modules I mention?

Interesting challenge!
You could probably capture the material through a Teams meeting using Peek (or Camtasia, or...). I was able to do something similar by logging into Teams on both a tablet and a laptop (connected to external monitors); so the tablet ran the software, and then because it was "shared" I was able to see it with much better resolution on the external monitor, and capture those images there.
Good luck!

Hi Michael,
Good news! You can capture your screen with Peek 360! It comes with your Articulate 360 subscription! Just open your Articulate 360 app and you'll see Peek 360 in the list of apps! Here's an article to get you started with Peek 360!
As you mentioned, you would then create your modules in Storyline 360. Here is an article with some information about try mode and test mode.
Thanks for reaching out!

Thank you, John. I haven't used Peek yet. Is it web-based? In other words, can I log-in and use it on any computer?

Hi Michael,
Peek 360 is not web-based. You can only record on the computer that it's installed on. Anything recorded using Peek 360 can be shared by copying and pasting a link to the video.
I hope this helps!
