New in Rise 360: Integrated Review 360 Comments

When you need feedback on a course, Review 360 makes it easy to share your e-learning with stakeholders and collect their thoughts. It’s always been a handy timesaver—and integration with Rise 360 will streamline your review processes even further!

With the new Comments panel, you can browse through feedback, reply to and resolve comments, and quickly update your course with suggestions from your reviewers—all right from Rise 360. By reducing the need to bounce back and forth between apps, you can speed up your revision process and trim down course production times.

To access comments, first make sure you’ve published your course to Review 360. Then simply click the Comments icon in the upper right corner of your course. That will expand the Comments panel and show you all the Review 360 comments on the course.

And if you also use Storyline 360, you’ll be happy to hear this feature is available there as well. Head over to the related discussion for more details: New in Storyline 360: Integrated Review 360 Comments.

If you’re an Articulate 360 subscriber, you can use this feature right now to speed up your course reviews. And if you don’t have Articulate 360 but want to see how much time integrated reviews can save you, you can start a free 30-day trial.

We’re always looking for ideas for enhancing features. So once you’ve tried in-app comments, we’d love to hear what you think! Please share any feedback or suggestions in the comments below.

Rise's comments feature seems to be changing from day to day. At one point, I was able to click the lesson heading that grouped the comments, which was convenient, but now that's gone and replaced with this text, "Overview."

Also, comments from other copies of the course show up and cause confusion. I copied a course as the basis for another. But now, when I go to edit the original, the drop down menu shows the comments from the newer copy by default, which is counter intuitive and has caused a lot of confusion. It's as though the new duplicate course is treated as a latest version, but it isn't. It's something separate.

Another issue is that when I click to edit a comment then save, it doesn't save the changes. I have to copy the text, delete the comment and create a new one.

I'm really happy to have comments in Rise and liked the feature that allowed me to click through directly to the lesson.

Looking forward to the improvements to help with work.

Thank you for your feedback Nick!

We have issued a fix for editing comments within Rise 360 and Storyline 360. Please let me know if you experience any more issues with this.

I was unable to reproduce the errors that you experienced by duplicating a course. One potential way that you might experience this behavior is if you publish the duplicate course to review using the "Publish a new version of an existing item" feature to select the original course. Doing this would 'link' the same Review item to both versions of the Rise 360 course. If you continue to have this issue, please open a case through https://access.articulate.com/support/contact and we can attempt to diagnose further.
