New Rise Feature - Exit Course
Many of you told us you needed a way for Rise learners to return to your LMS. So we've added a few features that make that super easy.
You can now set buttons in block lessons to leave the course, or add an ever-present link that lets learners return to an LMS.
Check out this Peek video describing the features:

I'm trying to program the "exit button" so that it functions outside of an LMS. We put many of our tutorials on Share Point sites as a web link for just in time training. I see some related discussion above - recommendations appreciated.

Hi! I am seeing on the settings page that there is an option to have the exit course link be the hand emoji and the text "bye". how do i set that?
Hello, Maggie!
Depending on your LMS, when you exit the course using either a button or the Exit Course link, you may see that "Bye! 👋" messaging before closing the Rise window. Some LMSs will use the "goodbye" messaging, and some will just close the window when you click to exit the course.
My teammate, Crystal, created this Peek 360 video to demonstrate how that messaging appears in an LMS.

Hello. I am about to publish my first rise course. Is there someone that I can speak to directly? I have just a few questions.
Hi Tim! We're happy to help you here in this E-Learning Heroes discussion, or you can open a case with our Support Engineers at www.articulatecase.com. We'll keep an eye out for your questions!

Is there anyway I can make the Exit Course link more clear?
When published to Oracle it appears as a grey color on top right of the screen and users barely find
Thanks

Hi,
The style of the Exit Course link cannot be changed.
Hi there, Mohammed. If the Exit Course link is hard for learners to spot, you can also use an interactive button block, and set the button destination to exit the course. If you'd like to have it present in each lesson, save it as a block template to reuse.

I have added an exit button at the end of a video..But the Exit button shouldn't show until they have watched the video.. Is it possible to hide/or disable the exit button?

Hi Paula, you can use a continue block if you want to make sure your learners complete your video before they can click on the exit button. Here’s how. Make sure you select Complete Block directly above or Complete All Blocks Above for the completion type.

Hi,
I am using button blocks for Exit buttons on several slides in my content. For context, I create multiple language projects in one Rise so that we end up with only one SCORM in our LMS. Button blocks allow for language selection and when the learner have finished the content in their language they are presented with an button block Exit to exit to the LMS.
Do you see any problem with multiple exit buttons? So far it works in SCORMCloud, I'm just having some 'completion' problems in my LMS.... anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Kelly- hazelBStaff
Hi Kelly! If the course works in SCORM Cloud, but not in your LMS, please share your SCORM Cloud findings with your LMS provider to troubleshoot the issue.

Hello, we are using Skilljar as our LMS and it is showing the "Bye" page when using either of these exit course options. Has anyone experienced this with Skilljar and can suggest a way to skip the Bye page? There's no way to return to the Skilljar curriculum page from the Bye page; the user is stuck going forward or backward, but can't return to the curriculum page. Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Customer Education,
I would suggest troubleshooting your file in SCORM Cloud to check if the behavior is the same. SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine that's free and supports AICC, SCORM, Tin Can API (xAPI), and cmi5 content. This video tutorial demonstrates how to use SCORM Cloud with Articulate content.Do you also get the "bye" page in SCORM Cloud? If there isn't one in SCORM Cloud, that would be a setting for Skilljar LMS. I would suggest contacting them to see if there is a way to remove it.
