Optimizing picture file size in storyline projects.
I'm curious about managing picture file sizes in Storyline projects. I have 10MB image file and I'm trying to compress from online application such as https://jpegcompressor.com/. It compresses images efficiently and I want to know that do I need to optimize high-resolution images before inserting them into my project, or can Storyline handle the file size automatically? Similar to optimizing images for websites, should I optimize images beforehand to improve Story load times, or is it fine to insert larger images and let Storyline manage them? Thanks in advance for your guidance!
Hello ybncaozx pwrby,
You're fine directly inserting images into a Storyline 360 project. One tip to make sure that your high-resolution images retain their quality is to ensure that their resolution closely matches the size of your slide.
