Good morning I have problems since the last update with the color palette. if I select an object and I open the color palette from the format menu, I can select a color, the object immediately changes color but as soon as my cursor leaves the palette, we return to the previous color. Am I the only one having this problem? THANKS

So for those of us who had already lined up our organization brand custom colors as those small squares at the bottom previously -- we're just out of luck? This is a huge time waster. I guess until Articulate fixes this issue I have to enter a hex code every time. I mean, it's completely random to have to click inside the upper color window to "find" the custom color you had already taken time to line up in your saved colors. What's up Articulate? How come we can't get basic feature requests for over 10 years and now we have to deal with a broken one we didn't even ask for?

Good morning two clarifications 1) if you choose the color directly in the upper zone of the palette, there is no problem!! it's only when you click on the small squares 2) I'm not the only one having this problem at my job.

I just checked . many of us have the same problem (we have at least 50 licenses)

Hi Francios, Wow! The color of an object reverting to its previous color after changing it is definitely not expected in Storyline 360! I’m happy to get this sorted out with you! I have a few follow-up questions regarding the situation so I can understand what you are experiencing a little better. Which version of Storyline are you using? I am using Storyline version 3.73.29904.0. Is this happening in one file or is this happening regularly? Are you working from a shared drive? If so, I would recommend saving your files on your local drive before creating, editing, and publishing them. This will help minimize any unexpected behavior. I’ve attached a Story file that I created Storyline 360. I was able to change the color of the objects and have the changes stay. Do you mind opening it on your end to see if you notice the same behavior? Thanks for reaching out and I look forward to your response!

I absolutely agree. This should be an urgent update to SL.

I remember when the new color palette was introduced, this bug came along. I then reported the bug and it got fixed with the next update. However, the bug was re-introduced with the February 21 update (Build 3.73.29831.0) I believe.

I guess since it was working before, it should not be a problem to fix this?

  I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the issues described in this thread sounds strikingly similar to a color palette issue we have investigated. I also want to share that we are going to address in the next release of Storyline 360 (Update 74).
  
  I'll circle back here early next week around Tuesday to give a status update.

  The complete release notes can be found here.
  
  Fixed: Shapes didn't always inherit the new theme color choice.

Ma dernière attente, c'est un nouveau panneau qui permettent de modifier les caractéristiques d'un objet (couleur de fond, de contour, style contour,...) sans jouer avec des onglets. c'est pas pratique alors que l'on peut tout mettre sur une seule fenetre

un peu comme sur l'exemple en PJ

Mine was doing that, but I found for some reason a single click only shows a 'sample' of the color, if you double click the color in the palette, it 'sticks'.

  Since the issue being discussed in this thread was resolved in a previous update of Storyline 360, it would be helpful to have a closer look at your .story file for testing. Or a screen recording of the behavior as you are experiencing it on your end. Feel free to upload those files here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
  
  We'll delete them from our system as soon as troubleshooting is complete!
