Appearance of the color palette
Recently my color palette design changed. It appears that it was updated when another designer saved a change to the new template. It is now the design of her color palette, not the one I had originally. I prefer the style I had but I don't know how to change it back. Please note: I am not talking about the actual colors in the palette but the layout of the palette itself. (attached is a sample of how it currently appears.)
Does anyone know how to change the layout?

The image you attached shows the new Color Selector. That wouldn't have been implemented by saving a template. It was introduced in the Nov. 2022 upgrade to Storyline:

Interesting because mine didn't change until approximately two weeks ago when I opened another colleagues' file. I asked her about it and she said, hers changed about a month ago when she opened someone elses' file. No rhyme or reason, we both do updates whenever they are available.
Is there any way to get the old one back? This in not a wanted or needed enhancement for me. If fact it is less functional than the previous one for my needs. :(

How strange that the new selector didn't appear to you before! I have no idea why not. (Well, unless you somehow managed to not change colors since Nov. 😂)
I don't know any way to get the old color picker back.
I think the new one has some great features. But there have been a lot of complaints about its functionality. Hopefully, they'll keep working on it...
