Problem with hyperlink to HubSpot document

I've never had a problem with hyperlinks until now. I have a document in HubSpot that I want to share. The link works when added to any browser, but when I add it to my Rise course I get a 404 error. The only work-around I found was to add the document as a downloadable file. Is this an issue with HubSpot? Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know of a solution?

  • Hi AshleyMcConn132 when you copied the link, did you see if you included the protocol at the beginning of the URL. It would look something like https:// or http://. I'm wondering if that is missing from Rise when you inserted the URL?

  • Hello AshleyMcConn132

Thanks for reaching out! It’s good to double-check that your HubSpot link allows external embedding. Even if it was public, updated privacy settings or new restrictions could block the embedding.

In addition to adding the URL as a hyperlink in your text, you could also embed the link using an iFrame. You can learn more about embedding web content in Rise 360 here. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
