Prompt to Resume and Losing Progress
I have been building courses for the same LMS for almost 2 years using Storyline with little issue. We've recently revised about 16 courses (basic revisions). I'm now exporting to SCORM and putting them into our LMS (very niche LMS for my field). When I test, I test to make sure the prompt to resume function is working and that I don't lose progress when I exit. Suddenly, I am having issues.
When I reopen a course from the LMS, sometimes it's prompting to resume and sometimes it isn't and starts me at the beginning. Sometimes it's losing progress, and sometimes it isn't. About 4 courses have been tested so far with all the same issues, and very little changes from their previous versions, which worked fine before. I'm publishing to Scorm 2004. I compared these three to a few courses we put into the LMS a few months ago, and there is no difference in the settings.
Could someone give guidance as to what could be going on?

Hey Sarah
That sounds frustrating. Which edition of SCORM 2004 are you using? The 3rd and 4th editions will provide you with a higher Suspend Data Limit. It does not sound like that is ALL of what is going on there, but it could help.
Have you considered submitting a case to your LMS or Articulate?

Thank you for that! These were exported in 2nd edition by accident. I'll see if the change to another edition helps! I did reach out to the LMS, and they are taking a deeper dive to see what could be going on. Thank you again.
