Record Audio in Storyline
I'm trying to record audio narration in Storyline. I've done this many many times before with no issues. When I click the red button to record it counts down from 2 seconds to 1 second and just stays that way (See image). It never starts the recording. If I click the red button again it goes from 1 second back to 2 then down to 1 again. I tried recording in a couple different courses and closing out Storyline and restarting. Same result.
Hello Geralyn, that seem to have happened before to Deb as reported in this discussion. Could you maybe check the things that Ashley had advised to her, to see either one of those may help with the issue you're having?
Thank you Ian. I walked through the steps multiple times, uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted, etc. The problem still exists so I'll contact support.

This is actually happening to me today. I can not get past the 1 second count down and am not able to record. I did look at the other post and have tried all of the suggestions. Were you able to figure this out?

I looked back through my emails and it looks like it was a setting on my mic. Below is what I replied back to the Articulate team. It's not very detailed, but may help you further troubleshoot.
"I was able to identify the issues as a setting related to my microphone. I adjusted it and audio recording is working properly."
