Rise - adding popup text box

Have you looked at the labeled graphic block? That would allow you to add a marker where a learner could click for more information such as a definition. Take a look at the steps here. 

In our courses we deal with a lot of terms and certainly have a huge requirement for providing definitions for terms using popups.

Yep. This would definitely be useful, and seems like it should be a fairly standard feature. I would love to see this happen soon.

Count me in too! It would be an ideal way to make a short explanatory aside without interrupting the flow. Not to mention some students come from different backgrounds and might already know these definitions, so they won't be feeling like they've being told the same thing over and over.

Julie Dirksen, in her wildly popular "Design for how people learn" suggests using a feature like this. See image. 

Hi there, Gail!  Could you use one of the existing interactive blocks for this idea?  Here's an example with the accordion interaction.  I only used one accordion "tab" to offer basic information in the title.  More information is revealed when they click the text.

I am wondering this as well. I have requests for making text clickable or a hover over and a definition pops up. If I had an HTML editor I could do it myself, but we don't have that option either. 

I would like the above too if possible please .... I've just been asked for a similar feature!

To chime in, pop overs are not really good for mobile (IMO).
