Rise 360 error on course launch

Hi, I had uploaded several Rise 360 e-learnings (consists of multiple separate modules) in SuccessFactors LMS last year. They were launching smoothly so far, until last week when one of the learners reported an error while launching them. When I checked I got the same error. Please see the image attached. Could you please help me to understand if there has been any change in Rise versions or any special settings to be applied while publishing the course? or anything else, because this error is related to the content application and not LMS, as per my understanding.

As per the error, when one clicks the Ok button either the course starts normally or the screen becomes blank.

Please support.

  • If it worked before, and you haven't updated it, then something has changed in your LMS. Have you tried replacing the content

Hi Phil, I tried replacing the content and it still shows error. I also uploaded the available content from the Rise library but the error persists.

  • That sounds like a frustrating issue, especially when the courses were functioning well previously. It’s worth checking if there have been any recent updates to Rise 360 or browser compatibility settings that might affect how the modules are launching. Sometimes republishing the course with updated settings can resolve such issues.

        Hi DeepikaBatra-1a!

Glad to see the community has been helping you!

If you're encountering issues when launching your course in SuccessFactors LMS, try testing how it will behave in another LMS like SCORM Cloud to isolate the behavior. A problem with the course itself can be observed regardless of which LMS you use, but LMS-specific issues cannot be replicated in another LMS. If you don't encounter any launching issues in SCORM Cloud, please work with your LMS support so they can address the behavior you may be experiencing in their environment.

However, if the course also fails to launch when testing in SCORM Cloud, please connect with our team through a support case. They'd be happy to continue troubleshooting with you!
