Rise 360 Quiz Navigation Issue: Often Jumps to End of Next Lesson After Completion?
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot a specific navigation behavior in Rise 360 and I'm hoping someone here has encountered this or has some insights.
The Problem: I have a course structured with standalone quiz steps placed between lessons, like this:
Lesson 1 > Lesson 2 > Lesson 3 > Quiz 1 > Lesson 4 > Lesson 5 > Quiz 2 > Lesson 6
Often, but not always, after a learner completes a quiz (e.g., "Quiz 1" or "Quiz 2"), instead of proceeding to the very beginning of the next sequential lesson (e.g., "Lesson 4" after "Quiz 1"), the course seems to jump directly to the very end of that next lesson.
This behavior is preventing learners from seeing the main content of the lesson immediately following the quiz when it occurs.
Has anyone experienced this with quizzes positioned as standalone steps between lessons in their Rise 360 courses? Does it happen intermittently for you as well? If so, what was your solution or what steps did you take to resolve it?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Max--I'm assuming you are using Storyline blocks for your quizzes?
I wonder if you put a Continue button (under Divider blocks in Rise) after the quiz, if it would help it jump to the next lesson?
Hi MaxMielke-fd501,
I'm sorry to hear that you encountered this issue. I opened a support case on your behalf so a support engineer can request a copy of your course for testing. Given that the behavior doesn't always happen, I'd like us to take a look at your course just to see how it's set up.
While waiting for a support engineer to reach out, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to help isolate the behavior.
- Are you observing the behavior when accessing your course in an LMS? If yes, try testing it in another LMS like SCORM Cloud to see if the behavior is LMS-specific.
- Try replicating the issue by publishing your course to Review 360.
Someone will be in touch shortly, so please keep an eye out for an email from our team!

Hi JoseTansengco,
thanks for opening the support case! I observed this behavior in the Rise360 Preview, in Review360 and on our LMS.Hi MaxMielke-fd501,
Thanks for confirming that you observed this behavior in both Rise 360 (preview mode), and Review 360. My teammate, Darrell, replied in your support case on Friday requesting a copy of your file. Please feel free to continue troubleshooting with Darrell so we can help get this resolved for you!
