Rise 360 title issue in sidebar menu

While there's not a way to control the line breaks in the course title, you'll see an improvement if you use both uppercase and lowercase letters. Would that be an option for you?

I have the same issue but I'm already using both upper and lowercase letters.  One letter still jumps down on some browsers.  Am I stuck?  I can't change the wording because it's the name of a product.

Hyphenation is a real problem in the sidebar menu.

Hi, Jack. Are you on a Windows machine? You should be able to type alt+0173 to enter the soft hyphen.

We've tested this on a Windows keyboard (using the numeric keypad), and you can directly enter the soft hyphen to your course titles, lesson titles, and text blocks. The hyphen should only appear when changing the browser size forces a line break. Otherwise, there will be no space or indication that the hyphen is there.

We are running into the same issue. It'd be ideal if Rise would adjust the text size depending on the length of the title.

In the meantime, can you try the soft hyphen solution I shared above? At least that way you can control where the hyphen appears. 

Hi Sindy! Does your course title have a long word that is breaking in the wrong place? 

If so, place your cursor in the Rise title area in the middle of the word where you prefer for it to break. Hold the alt key and type 0173 on your numeric keypad (on the side of your Windows keyboard) while your cursor is where you prefer the hyphen to appear. It won't appear to add a hyphen in your word until you preview the course and the word is forced to break.

We discovered this particular alt code workaround to solve this customer's issue, but it isn't documented in our help center.  In our experience, the alt code works for both the course title and lesson titles.
