Rise: Chapter numbers (Lesson numbers) in japanese
Hi,
I am currently creating a module for our japanese audience and was wondering how the chapter (lesson) numbers will be changed from arabic numerals to japanese (phonetic?) numbers?
I have our corporate japanese font (Meiryo) installed in RISE, however it still shows the arabic number (e.g. Lesson 1 of 5).
Can you kindly assist with this?

You can go to Settings > Labels to translate the labels using a translation service (as noted in this article). For now, you can only translate the words "Lesson" and "of," but not the numbers.
Will it work if you only translate the words but not the numbers? Or do you want to be able to translate the numbers for uniformity? I want to understand your need so that we can make a case to have this feature made available.

yes, it may be necessary to have the numbers translated too, especially displaying the correct signs, in that case japanese.
This may also be necessary in future for us with chinese, arabic, greek, etc. languages and signs.

I have now found that in Japan they also use normal (phonetic) numbers as well.
However, I was wondering whether you would be interested to receive a japanese translation for the RISE lables (buttons & messages, as well as (screen reader announcements). I would be happy to share the XLF file so you can include it to your next update?
